About Ben

Ben Gaddis is an author, speaker, innovation specialist, and futurist who believes irrationality will save us all.

As President and CEO of T3, an Austin-based innovation firm, Ben sets the vision to help clients build Useful Brands through a combination of intensive collaboration, rapid prototyping, and making cool stuff happen.

Ben has helped T3 craft innovation, marketing, and loyalty strategies for 7-Eleven, Staples, UPS, Allstate, Coca-Cola, Sprite, and other clients. He launched T3’s Innovation Labs to help clients take an agile approach to conceptualize and bring new tech, digital experiences, and products to market. He also created T3 Ventures that invests in and provides consulting and services to early stage startups.

Before joining T3, Ben worked across diverse clients and large-scale marketing firms and gained unique perspectives into how different organizations approach innovation, technology, and creativity.

He helped American Airlines launch its first mobile initiative while at T:M Interactive. He was VP of business development at Omnicom-owned ipsh, developing enterprise-level mobile strategies for Frito-Lay, Nokia, and AT&T. He started in account service with an emphasis in advertising and marketing at The Richards Group.

Ben is a frequent writer, speaker, and moderator and has been featured in Forbes, Wired, TechCrunch, Digiday, MediaPost, The Wall Street Journal, NPR, and Bloomberg TV, among others. He serves a Techstars mentor and also hosts the podcast “Cocktails and Questions” which covers all things technology, business, culture (and booze).

His speaking includes the Cannes Creative Festival, MediaPost Brand Marketers Summits, the Sundance Festival, and corporate talks and workshops.

Ben lives in Austin with his wife, Morgan, their two daughters, and a closet full of white shirts.
