Ben Gaddis is an author, speaker, innovation specialist, and futurist who believes irrationality will save us all.
As the Co-Founder of Superstep Capital, a private equity firm focused on technology services investments, Ben partners with founders to build enduring companies by combining deep operating expertise with strategic growth capital. At Superstep, he works closely with leadership teams across the portfolio to accelerate growth, refine go-to-market strategies, and strengthen brand positioning—leveraging his belief that great outcomes are often the result of unexpected thinking.
Previously, Ben served as President and CEO of T3, an Austin-based innovation firm, where he set the vision to help clients build Useful Brands through intensive collaboration, rapid prototyping, and making cool stuff happen.
At T3, Ben helped craft innovation, marketing, and loyalty strategies for 7-Eleven, Staples, UPS, Allstate, Coca-Cola, Sprite, and others. He launched T3’s Innovation Labs, which enabled clients to take an agile approach to conceptualize and bring new tech, digital experiences, and products to market. He also created T3 Ventures, which invests in and supports early-stage startups with consulting and services.
Ben is a frequent writer, speaker, and moderator, with features in Forbes, Wired, TechCrunch, Digiday, MediaPost, The Wall Street Journal, NPR, and Bloomberg TV, among others. He’s a Techstars mentor and host of the podcast “Cocktails and Questions”, where he explores topics at the intersection of technology, business, culture—and booze.
